The announcement by Rugby Australia on Monday suspending all rugby activities covering matches, rugby training and face-to-face education courses with immediate effect until the first week of May has an impact on our Club, the players and supporters. We understand this decision has not been taken lightly and has been made in the best interests of the participants, families and the broader community.
Gordon Rugby fully supports this decision and will continue to work with Rugby Australia, NSW Rugby and the Health Authorities in relation to precautions regarding the preventative measures to control the spread of COVID-19. Our highest priority is to ensure we look after the physical and mental well-being of our players, Coaches, volunteers and staff.
