The 2023 season will see the introduction of a new weekly award titled the ‘President’s Player of the Round’.
This award is open to any player across our club from grade, colts, women’s or sevens. The recipient will be the person who I deem to have displayed an inspirational performance for our club.
The President’s Player of the Round will receive a $100 voucher from our great sponsor the Greengate Hotel.
On March 4th I watched our women’s team take on Bond University for the National Club Championship trophy in Brisbane.
Despite being on the wrong side of the scoreboard our girls put in an excellent effort.
The player who I deemed to have shown great skill, courage, and a never say die attitude was our No 8 Loretta Mailangi.
