Established in 1927, Gordon Rugby Club is one of Australia’s proudest rugby clubs. The strength of our club lies in the spirit of our broader community, a community that sustains itself on and off the field through friendship, endeavour, sacrifice, inclusion, loyalty and laughter.
Located in Chatswood; the club continues to promote its proud traditions with more than 2000 junior members and 300 male and female senior playing members across both grassroots and elite Rugby programs. To date; Gordon has produced over 35 Wallabies and over 100 Waratahs players and, with a continued commitment at one of the highest levels of Rugby, we look forward to nurturing this kind of talent in the future.
Gordon Rugby Club are looking for Expressions of Interest for a First Grade Head Coach to take responsibility for the overall performance of the Gordon Rugby program in 2019. Duties will include:
- the design, implementation and management of the overall performance of the First Grade program
- leading Gordon’s playing and coaching philosophy by providing leadership and direction to management and players
- making significant contributions to the culture and long term development of Gordon Rugby Club
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 2-5 years of coaching experience at a similar high level
- Great leadership skills
- A proven record of working with multiple stakeholders including players, coaches and support staff
- A genuine passion for developing players and staff alike
- Level 3 World Rugby Coaching Accreditation
