GORDON CRICKET CLUB ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF DAY & DINNER
Killara Golf Club – February 16, 2012
The Gordon District Cricket Club Golf Day and Dinner will again be held at Killara Golf Club on Thursday February 16, 2017. As a special treat for our long-time supporters, and past and current players we will welcome Adam Gilchrist on the night to share some of his Gordon experiences as well as his well-documented cricket career and post cricket achievements. Adam will be joined by former Gordon player and now Executive General manager of Cricket Australia, Kevin Roberts as well as highly acclaimed TV personality Tony Squires.
Registration from 10.30 and lunch from 11.30am
The event will open with registration followed by a BBQ lunch and a putting competition on the practice green while players prepare for the day.
Shot gun hit off at 12.00pm
The Event will be a four ball “Shambles” where all players hit from the tee; select the best ball and then play individually from that position. The best score of the group after handicap is then recorded. A presentation will be conducted following the golf before dinner.
Dinner and auction from 6.30pm
Pre-dinner drinks will start from 6.30pm with dinner being served at 7pm.
If you are not a golfer you can come just for the drinks, dinner and auction. Auction prizes will be advertised in advance of the event. As with previous years the club will make a donation to our nominated sponsor Dream Cricket.
Dream Cricket provides primary school students with special needs with an opportunity to play cricket and has grown to encompass schools and children throughout Australia and internationally. Other profits for the day will go to the GDCC Youth Development Program. Cost and special hole sponsorship offer As a special offer for corporate guests, you can buy a hole sponsorship that allows you to have a sign on a hole, distribute marketing material and be mentioned as a sponsor on the night. The cost of a hole sponsorship is $1,500 (excluding GST) which also gives you four players for golf and dinner. Costs for the day are $260 for lunch, golf, drinks and dinner, $125 for golf only and $140 for drinks and dinner.

To submit your application for attending the event, simply go to www.gordoncricket.com and follow the prompts from the Golf day announcement. This includes payment options based on the booking made. You can also request a hole sponsorship through the booking and nominate your playing group.
