Foundation

Gordon Rugby Football Club Ltd.

The Gordon Rugby Foundation has been established to continue to strengthen the Gordon Rugby Community and create an environment that encourages all young men.

The aim of the Gordon Rugby Foundation is to raise funds to advance the Gordon Rugby Football Club. We plan to do this by focusing on the five following areas:

  1. Sustained on-field success including player welfare and development for Grade and Colts;
  2. Maintenance and improvement of Club facilities and amenities;
  3. Development of a pathway for women’s rugby in the Gordon catchment;
  4. Support and development of our junior clubs; and
  5. Community engagement, social inclusion and support for our indigenous players.

The Gordon Rugby Foundation aims to not only continue a proud rugby tradition, but also create an environment where our players are encouraged to be successful, contributing members of the community.

Through the Gordon Rugby Foundation we hope to provide financial security for our club for many years to come. This Gordon Rugby Foundation provides a tax effective platform to enable us to obtain the financial resources required to make Gordon Rugby Football Club competitive in the professional era of Rugby.

Donations you make to the Gordon Rugby Foundation are Tax deductible and help provide much needed support to the development of our game. With your support, we hope to continue our success both on and off the field and maintain a club that we are proud to call our own.

Donations can be made here or by using the following form.

Thank you for your support and please contact Georgia Separovich on 0401 182 887 or foundation@gordonrugby.com.au if you have any questions.

Raising funds for the Gordon Rugby Foundation

This project is run in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) so our donors can receive a tax deductible donation. The Australian Sports Foundation Ltd (ASF) (ABN 27 008 613 858) was established by the Australian Government to raise funds through public and corporate donations for the development of sport in Australia. The ASF’s listing in the Income Tax Assessment Act (1997) (div 30,S 30-90) means donations to us of $2 or more are tax deductible. Your donation is made to the ASF and you will nominate us as your preferred beneficiary.
