CONGRATULATIONS TO GORDON DISTRICT JUNIOR PREMIERSHIP WINNERS

The club congratulates the following junior club teams from the Gordon District who won the premiership for their respective age/grade competition on 16 August 2016 when all the Sydney wide grand finals were held:

Under 11G Chatswood Highlanders who recorded a sound victory over arch rivals Mosman Sharks 36 to 19.

Under 11E Roseville Cyclones who put a veritable cyclone through Lane Cove 52 to nil.

Under 12E Chatswood Highlanders who had little trouble disposing of Wakehurst 43 to nil.

Under 14C Lindfield Tartans who had to struggle hard but secured a good win over Balmain 14 to 5.

Under 14E1 Wahroonga Gold  in a close one got home against Mosman 10 to 7.

Under 15B2 Lindfield Highlanders won a thriller against Northern Barbarians 33 to 31.

Under 15A Lindfield Tartans played some great rugby to get a solid win over Easts Wallaroos 23 to 7.

Under 16B Lane Cove Gold comfortably accounted for cross-town rivals Randwick by 44 to 12.

Under 16C Lindfield/Chatswood had a very good win against a good opponent in Freshwater Vikings 32 to 10.

Open A Gordon Barbarians (a composite of several Gordon District clubs) in a great game of open running rugby eventually ran away with a well deserved win over Wests 54 to 36.

The future of Gordon Rugby is in good hands with results like these! Well done to all the players and coaches concerned.
