The Gordon Rugby community congratulates Brandon on his selection and subsequent performances for Australia in last weekend’s World Rugby Sevens tournament in Sydney.
Brandon played his junior rugby for the Wahroonga Tigers, playing Gordon Juniors and going on to play Colts for Gordon before making his 1st Grade debut for Gordon in 2013 whilst still playing Colts. Brandon was selected in the Emerging Rays Squad in 2014 as part of his development through to higher honours.
He was awarded a Gordon/ UTS Scholarship in 2014, representing UTS at the University Games, and winning selection for the Australian Universities Sevens side winning a Gold medal at the 2016 World University Games.
With limited opportunities at last week’s World Rugby Sevens, Brandon was not out of place at international level, setting up a great try in the Saturday night pool clash against PNG, and scoring a try against New Zealand in the play off for 3rd Place on the Sunday.
Well played Brandon!
