Vanessa has been a valued member for the Gordon Community for a number of years, serving on our board for almost 5 years, being a pillar of support to our playing group and staff, previously Vanessa has worked as a teacher for a number of Sydney’s top schools and has been active member of the North Shore Community for a number of years.
Jeremy joined the GRFC board in 2020, having a long history with the club, beginning as a player for the club in the early 90s. Jeremy has previously served as Senior legal counsel for Telstra for 14 years and is currently the Legal Business Engagement Lead for telecommunications company BELONG, Jeremy has experience in large corporates advising on complex and strategic telecommunications products and services that meet B2B and B2C needs and drive business growth. Highly experienced in competition and consumer law, IP, and various regulatory instruments in the retail environment.
Tim has been a member of the community for decades, both as a player, a coach, supporter and parent. Tim has also spent over 35 years in the Insurance industry as Managing Director of one of the country’s leading Insurance brokering firms and Gordon Rugby Football Club Sponsor AEI Insurance Broking. In addition to his role at AEI, Wedlock currently serves as the president of the National Insurance Brokers Association.
Andrew has over twenty-five years of Australian and International sales and management experience covering a multitude of sports including Rugby, Formula 1, V8 Supercars, Cycling, and Gymnastics. Andrew currently owns and runs a sports management company and currently sits on a number of sporting-based steering committees and boards including NSWJRU, NSWRU, and SJRU.
Meredith has been an active and long-serving member of the Gordon Rugby and Gordon Junior Rugby Community for some time. Meredith has been on the GRFC board since 2019 and had brought a wealth of financial industry experience to the club. Meredith has previous served on boards for Lindfield and Gordon Junior Rugby Union.
Andrew has been an active member of the Gordon Rugby and Gordon Junior Rugby Community and including the NSWRU serving as a Referee for a number of years. Andrew is also a Financial Planner with over 32 years of experience establishing his company Wealth Partners in 2000 as the Practice Principle. Andrew is a regular contributor to the media, Andrew has written articles and provided commentary in the Financial Review, The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Daily Telegraph, and various magazines. Andrew also sits on the board of the Bush Children’s Education Foundation.
A new member to our board, joining in late 2022 as a casual vacancy, Ben has been a long-time supporter of Gordon Rugby, sharing a passion and dedication to the club to help drive us into the future. Ben works as Head of Marketing for LMG and previously was General Manager of Beer and Cider at CCEP, prior to that Ben has worked in several senior marketing and commercial roles including as Marketing Director at Blackmores as well as having spent 15 years in marketing leadership roles at Lion Nathan.
