The Board  of Gordon Rugby have  great pleasure in announcing the appointment of Shane Sullivan as the new General Manager of the GRFC.  Shane has a vast amount of experience in managing sporting organisations and clubs in rugby union, rugby league, netball and touch football.  His most recent appointment was GM of Norths Rugby Club in Brisbane where he lead the club to  success in “on field” performance and growth in the club operations.  He was GM of the West Coast Fever for Netball Western Australia and was also State Manager for Touch Football Association of WA.  However, his great passion is rugby union.  In 2008, Shane was QRU Volunteer of the Year in recognition of his work with Redcliff Rugby Union in helping them get re-established in the Brisbane suburban competition. He also has served as team manager for the Queensland Reds and as an Operations Manager for QRU.

Shane will commence work with Gordon on April 1 and, on behalf of all members, I would like to welcome him to the GRFC.
