2019 CLUB CAPTAIN & LEADERSHIP GROUP

We are pleased to announce our new Club Captain for 2019, Nicholas Olive.

Nicholas is one of the many players that has developed through our colts where he also served as Colts’ Club Captain.
Known for his abrasive approach to the game as well as his tenacity and commitment, these are traits which he has carried into Grade where he has become a leader and role model amongst the young group.

It’s these traits that have helped Nic overcome a bad run with injuries over the years to still perform at a top level, a drive that has made him one of the Club’s most well respected and admired players. We are confident that Nic will be a great leader and he is keen to hit the ground running.

Nic will head up a leadership team of 4, all of whom will be working towards the joint goals of providing a positive experience, development of the playing group and a strong inclusive culture for the Club both on and off the field.
The Grade leadership team is: Jack Maguire, Toby Parr and Jackson Garrels.

Nic takes over from another club stalwart, Erik Moss. Erik has gone above and beyond serving as Club Captain in 2018, and we want to recognise and thank Erik for his service to the Club not only as a Club Captain but as a leader amongst the playing group. Erik will be moving overseas in the next couple weeks to take up a work opportunity, so we wish him all the best and hope to see him back in the tartan soon.
