All players will be expected in helping raise funds for the trip. Players will be divided into groups and given tasks to assist the fund raising activities
Funds raised for the trip will be reimbursed equally to all players involved in the trip in the first week of February.
Payers will have to pay a $60 deposit fee
- $60 airfare deposit by Wednesday the 21st of September
Each month Players will have to pay a $300 of the $1200 until all costs are paid at the end of January.
- e.g. October – February $300 will be deposited to the designated bank account to relieve the inconvenience of paying a lump sum of $1200 (unless a player prefers to pay all up front)
Suggested Ideas for Fundraising
Golf Day – 2nd December
Tour Calendar – October
Christmas Party
Pre-season dinner – previewing the Super rugby and Shute shield season.
Insurance
We suggest all players obtain a health insurance for the tour as the club insurance doesn’t extend to overseas tours. This will be cleared up by the ARU as they do have a touring club insurance.
Activities
We will expect that the players attend all training activities assigned to the tour. Players not attending training with out good reason will face the tour judiciary for allocated punishment.
Activities will include
- skill training
- video sessions
- 7s senario sessions and beach rugby
- Unit work
We understand that all hard work deserves reward, so evenings will be free for players to enjoy the Island’s night life and entertainment.
