All financial Rugby Club members will have recently received a notice advising of the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Gordon Social and Recreation Club to be held on Tuesday 12th June at 6:30pm.  The meeting is to consider, and if thought fit, pass the resolution that the Gordon Social and Recreation Club amalgamate with the Mingara Recreation Club Ltd. Mingara is a large, strong and successful club with substantial premises at Tumbi Umbi on the Central Coast, Roselands in Sydney and Port Macquarie, having previously undertaken three amalgamations.

Mingara have undertaken to provide the Gordon Rugby Club with, for a period of three (3) years after completion of the amalgamation with at least $100,000 per year  in the form of donations, sponsorship or Club GRANTS.

All financial Rugby Club members are encouraged to attend the EGM, to be held on the premises of the Gordon Social and Recreation Club, 5th Floor, Mandarin Centre Chatswood. Please bring your 2012 Rugby Club membership card with you. It will be required in order for you to gain entry to the meeting, and therefore eligibility to vote on the resolutions for amalgamtion and permission to dispose (sub letting) of the Gordon Social and Recreation Club premises.
